Hopefully the bears are in what counts as hibernation for them (!). Thank you, David, it is such a pleasure following the seasons with your guidance!!

My variation on the above recipe/method is considerable, but I would add that I use rendered bacon fat (which is what I have available), and add some leftover mixed bird seed, oatmeal and cornmeal. No honey or peanut butter.(Maybe next year I will harvest the berries, but the birds are eating them from the trees and bushes, so I thought I would leave the berries as they are). Then I harden or freeze the mixture in muffin cups. I keep the extras in the freezer. Love the icetray idea! I found that I could repurpose the net bags that cover frozen turkeys, and put a suet cup in the mesh bag and easily hang them in my little sanctuary.mobiusnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5086285745310021732.post-90024401186345624722011-12-03T04:31:14.774-07:002011-12-03T04:31:14.774-07:00Amazing Montana Wildlife Gardener pictures and nic...Amazing Montana Wildlife Gardener pictures and nice information !!

Native Plantsvikeshhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08760072422068786349noreply@blogger.com
